	Decision/resolution Sustainable Consumption and Production This Resolution 2/8 among other things, encourages Member States to take the necessary steps to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 12 and related targets in other Sustainable Development Goals, taking into account national capabilities and priorities recognizing the objective of moving towards sustainable consumption and production patterns, while improving global resource efficiency and endeavouring to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation, in accordance with the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns, with developed countries taking the lead. 	Reports Implementation of Governing Council decision 27/2: Stakeholder engagement in the United Nations Environment Programme: Report of the Executive Director The present report sets forth proposed new mechanisms to promote transparency and the effective engagement of civil society in the work of the governing body and its subsidiary bodies, reflecting the results of consultations with the Committee of Permanent Representatives to UNEP.
